The ICEA Robotics Lab is an invitational only program to offer students project-based opportunities to explore how robotics can be applied across different fields such as rocketry, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Through guided projects, students learn to innovate, experiment, and apply STEM skills to real-world problems, while building creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking for future challenges.
The Rocket Launch Project challenges students to combine aerospace and robotics technology in an exciting, hands-on experiment. In this project, a rocket is launched diagonally to create a rainbow-shaped flight path, while a robot rover is programmed to track, catch, and recover it upon landing. Students explore concepts of engineering, physics, and automation, with opportunities to add features such as a deployment chute for safe recovery.
The Safety Guard Dog Project is designed to help create a safe and welcoming home environment. This innovative project uses smart sensors and sound technology to detect activity—whether it’s a potential threat or even the arrival of the mailman. Once triggered, the system plays the sound of a dog barking, providing both a sense of protection and deterrence. The ultimate goal of this project is to help individuals feel secure at home without having to take care of a real dog.
At ICEA Robotics, we believe innovation grows when we bring creative minds together. Our Robotics Lab is a space for exploring, experimenting, and building exciting projects—from rockets and rovers to AI-powered robots and beyond.
Whether it’s a fun prototype, a real-world application, or a bold vision for the future, your idea could be the next big thing we build together.
