Math Kangaroo is an international mathematical competition designed to inspire and challenge students from grades 1 through 12. Founded in Australia, this annual event encourages a love for mathematics through engaging and thought-provoking problems that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Math Kangaroo provides a unique opportunity for students to compete globally, fostering a sense of achievement and enthusiasm for math. The competition is usually held in March each year.
Since 2019, ICEA Math has been offering a dedicated Math Kangaroo training program to help students from 1st grade to 6th grade prepare for the competition. As an official test center for Math Kangaroo, ICEA Math provides a supportive environment where students can hone their skills and participate in this prestigious event. Our comprehensive training program, starting after Christmas, aims to boost students' confidence and proficiency in mathematics, ensuring they are well-prepared for the competition.
The AMC 8 and AMC 10 are prestigious math competitions organized by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) to challenge and inspire middle and high school students. The AMC 8 is designed for students in grades 8 and below, while the AMC 10 is targeted at students in grades 10 and below. These competitions aim to develop problem-solving skills and foster a love for mathematics through a series of challenging and engaging questions.
Since 2020, ICEA Math has been an official test center for the AMC 8 and AMC 10 competitions. We provide a supportive environment where students can take these exams and demonstrate their mathematical abilities. ICEA Math also offers preparation programs to help students excel in these competitions, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
The UCLA Math Circle is a renowned enrichment program designed to challenge and inspire students with a deep interest in mathematics. Through a series of engaging and rigorous sessions, students from elementary to high school levels explore advanced mathematical concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and build a solid mathematical foundation. The program fosters a collaborative and stimulating environment, encouraging students to delve into complex problems and cultivate a lifelong passion for math.
